Technology is playing a big part in getting veterans hired during this pandemic.
The Miami Veterans Job Fair, which was supposed to be at the University of Miami, has shifted to being totally online today from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
"In some sense it's hands off, right. We're not shaking hands in consideration of the COVID-19 and having it virtual like that," says RecruitMilitary Senior Vice President Christopher Stevens.
Veterans and spouse who have signed up to participate can drop into the chat rooms of dozens companies.

With veteran unemployment at historical lows, Stevens says employers are realizing they're quite the catch: "and once they hire one, they can't get enough of them. They keep coming back to us hiring these military veterans and spouses."
