The Florida Department of Health says the Florida National Guard is now working with them to help screen passengers flying into Palm Beach International from a coronavirus hot spot in the northeast.
Health officials say the screening procedure began on Thursday for passengers from the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Prior to that, members of the Guard had been stationed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Miami International Airports, but not at PBIA, where there are close to 20 flights per day arriving from the region.
Passengers from those states have to fill out a form asking them questions about their traveling history.
The governor has ordered anyone coming from those areas to self-isolate for 14 days.
