NORTH PORT -- North Port police now say the search for fiance Brian Laundrie is being scaled back and targeted, based on intelligence.
Laundrie hasn't been seen since September 14th, and the FBI is now leading the search efforts, according to Foxnews.com and News Channel 8.
Crews have, up to now, concentrated their efforts in the Carlton Reserve, a 25,000-acre nature preserve near North Port.
Laundrie is the only named person of interest in the disappearance and death of his fiance, Gabrielle "Gabby" Petito.
