Surfside Survivors To Get Increased Settlement

Surviving unit owners of the Surfside condo collapse will see a settlement increase.

The allocation will be raised from $83-million to $96-million as announced by Judge Michael Hanzman.

Surviving unit owners asking for the increase after a wrongful death lawsuit was settled for nearly $1-billion.

The increased funds could come from the sale of the property which will happen after a remaining handful of unit owners sign an agreement.
