Florida - A popular Midwest convenience store is set to expand its presence in Florida after acquiring Fikes Wholesale and CEFCO Convenience Stores
The competitive landscape of convenience stores in Florida is about to heat up as Casey's, a major player in the industry, prepares to enter the state.
The company's planned expansion into the southeast United States includes acquiring Fikes Wholesale and CEFCO Convenience Stores, bringing a total of 148 stores to Texas and 50 stores to Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi.
This expansion will significantly increase Casey's presence in Texas, making it the state with the seventh-most locations in the country.
Additionally, the company has identified 40 potential sites in the panhandle region of Alabama and Florida, targeting areas with a significant population within a 100-mile radius.
Casey's is known for its high-quality food offerings, including its signature handmade pizza.
The company plans to incorporate its own kitchens into 85% of the acquired stores, ensuring that customers can enjoy their favorite Casey's products.
This latest expansion is part of Casey's broader strategic vision to grow its footprint across the United States.
In recent years, the company has acquired dozens of Buc-ee's, Circle K, and Pilot Flying J locations.
The new Florida locations and their opening dates remain undisclosed.
