Sunrise, FL - British rock legends The Who will kick off their final North American tour with a farewell performance at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise this summer.

Founding members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will headline The Song Is Over North America Farewell Tour, named after their 1971 track, kicking off August 16th in Sunrise.

The tour will make stops in major cities including New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Vancouver before concluding in Las Vegas on September 28th.

Fans can expect a setlist packed with iconic hits that helped define a generation.

Daltrey, 81, reflected on the band's journey, saying their breakthrough in the U.S. in 1967 “changed our lives forever.”

From early club gigs to headlining Woodstock, The Who quickly became one of the world’s top live acts.

Their contributions to rock history include albums like Tommy and Quadrophenia, both adapted into cult-classic films.

Despite the loss of drummer Keith Moon in 1978 and bassist John Entwistle in 2002, Daltrey and Townshend have carried on, honoring their former bandmates.

Pre-sale tickets begin May 13th, with general sales starting May 16th.

While fans in the U.K. are hopeful for a farewell tour, Daltrey was noncommittal, reportedly stating, “Let’s see if we survive this one.”
