Effective immediately, Miami-Dade County has Zero Tolerance when it comes to breaking disabled parking permit laws. The Office of County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez is executing a full countywide audit of every disabled parking permit and temporary disabled parking permit application filed within the last 24 months.
Earlier this month, a sting operation in Lake County netted 30-people in jail for using the placards illegally.
